Update: The government has accepted all twenty-seven recommendations of Sir David Bell's landmark review into antisemitism in schools, unveiled as a "generational moment" by Education Secretary Lucy Powell.

Antisemitism will become a distinct safeguarding category, with dedicated training for education leaders, tougher impartiality guidance and IHRA adoption encouraged. The National Education Union attacked the IHRA element as "the wrong approach".
